This is a highly powerful reading and study software and is applicable to Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Feature-wise, MarginNote 3 has a lot of to offer but it felt clunky the last time I used it (around 2 years ago, but I saw they have some big updates so my input might be too dated and you might want to check it out yourself).
